I have a friend coming to visit this weekend, and he wants to try Bosintang. Can anyone tell me where we can go? I live near Itaewon, so I guess the closer the better.

I've found that areas around the traditional street markets and good for finding Boshin-Tang or Su-Yuk. Can't address the Itaewon area but I do know that there are several places in Jong-No 3 Ga. Your gonna have to wander some back alleys though.

I live in that area. Where is that place? And do they put in more than just three thin strips of meat?

Learn to read Korean and you'll see that they're everywhere. No need to go far, no matter where you live.

Tell your friend if he has premature ejaculation problems, that eating dog doesn't really fix that. It's a stupid old myth.

and why eat man's best friend?

I agree. All that beating makes for a more tender meat.

You're the first person I've ever heard calling dog meat tender. I only know a few people who have tried it but the best review I've heard is the soup is pretty good but the meat tastes like shit.

The meat is indeed tender and succulent, but a little greasy. Very tasty, a bit like beef.
