Is the exchange rate tanking now, or is it difficult to find teachers suddenly? I'm seeing some schools offering higher pay on the Dave's Job Board. I just peeked there because I was bored. Thought it was interesting, because not long ago, many people were having tough luck finding a job. |

I think it seems there are a lot of teachers right now, but the majority of them are not suitable (i.e. overseas, asian or other unsuitable ethnicity, or can't start right away)...I recently had one school offering to take me to a room salon if I'd sign. |

Hmm w00t comes to mind there. Wish resigning with a school had that kind of benefit! |

Personally I distrust high wage offers. Maybe some are legitimate. But most places want to stay at 2.0 or less. |

or what they want is too much, like 2 years experience and a masters degree. There's always a hitch I have noticed. |
