I catch a bit of flak for my name, but these people have it much worse...'Primrose,' for a boy? Or somebody who must introduce themselves at parties with 'hello, I'm Gay, nice to meet you?' Yikes.

What's the worst name you've ever heard?
I feel especially sorry for Mr. Nic Unt...

My mom went to High School with a girl whose first name was Ima, and her surname was Hoar. Her name was Ima Hoar. She never heard the end of it, and apparently changed her name as soon as she was legally of age to do so.

I've had some bad ones. How the hell do you pronounce Ty'Queasia?

I've had a few Tiaras, too.

But the worst was a boy, first name Prince. Middle name? Unique. Prince Unique.

But a preK teacher friend of mine had a girl named--I swear on my teaching certificate--Vayjina.

Boy in my class was called Aidan Hoar. The principle made a public announcement over the intercom.

"Could A.Hoar please come to the office to see me?"

---

In college database class we were asked to enter some personal details into a database. These details were displayed on an overhead projector and our lecturer, a busty female, read each of them out. But she couldn't find one of the people on the list so she called out:

"Has anybody seen Mike Hunt?"

I don't know if that joke works in the U.S.

My cousin's best friend was named Richard Head, and my roommate's girlfriend was named Crystal Shanda Lear.

o yeah? weird, I met that chick when I was like 13 years old. She's from Victoria!
Unless there's two...wow, that'd be the ultimate burn on the parents, eh? They try to give their kid the unique name, but fail. I guess why they come up with medicinal sounding names like 'Tyquesia'

Shakin, I think your mom and my mom read the same book on promulgating urban legends on unsuspecting progeny. In my mom's version, the girl's name was Ophelia Balz.

a friend of mine is a shrewsbury town football club fan who swore that he would name his kid after their ground ' gay meadow' so i was really looking forward to a boy called gay. Fortunately for the kid they had a girl and settled on the name 'meadow' which is actually quite nice i think.

You could always name your boy "Sue" like the great Johnny Cash:

I coulda swore I saw a Korean in that video. Maybe a "Mr. Su" laugh'n 'cause he can relate to the song.
