Demophobe,

Cheers....it was a new install as the hard drive was brand new...just out the box,didn't hve any OS on before.

Appreciate the help. I'm sure it will be something simple.

I have no doubt at all that it is a driver issue.

Could you post the make and model of the laptop?

That's what I think, but it's a bugger of a driver problem.

The laptop is Easynote Model R1938 and we installed all the drivers on the site.

Man...this is crazy....it won't pick up any wireless either, which it did before.

Does the IP address need to be changed? Can I do this manually?

No rush...just would like it up and running.

Been thinking about a few different (that's what geeks do).

Try this:

Then this:

Then, if either of the above don't work go to http://forum.packardbell.com/en/index.php and post there. They can probably be a little more specific than my scattergun approach.

I did what it said in options....funny thing, I can't see an IP address...I'm sure something wrong there.

I posted on forum, so let's see what happens!!!
