These are two gems from yesterday...

I still can't believe how off they are. (I won't be so mean as to mention any names.)

The former is likely not a Dave's poster (doesn't know "Homer").

The latter is probably a Dave's poster (is fed up with the minority of malcontents who often dominate these boards).

No surprise there.

Is this necessary? Of all the gems on here I think you choose mine because of a personal vendetta rather than because my "gems" are the worst. Seriously. There are way taller piles of crap here than myself.

Do you know why I don't try to hang out / meet you Dave-sters again? Because if I wanted to come to Korea and hang out with uninteresting drunkards who only cared about getting drunk and acting like idiots I would've done all that in Halifax with the local fraternity.

Your online persona did come off a little bit smug. Good thing it's not you.

You asked in that thread to....dun dun! Meet other Dave's posters!

And the OP isn't just picking on you. He's picking on "I make tons of money and have tons of women but still spend my entire day posting bullshit on Dave's" Justin Hale.

For a newbie...Incognito sure does think that he knows a lot more than everyone else.

Blanket statements are uber-lame no matter where they're directed.

Are you sure it's icongnito? He has only been here 8 months so can't make the 2 year quote.

icognito - you have met some of these people? Bad experience?

I remember when I was having a bad experience here over something that was proven to be untrue, it was you who started gossiping and telling me lies to make the situation much worse.

My friends and I + your friends and I were not happy with you because of that. So if you're going to be accusing others of making blanket statements or of acting like they know more than they actually do, you should look at yourself first and how you once tried to mess with my personal life here by spreading lies just because you're bored and attention craved.

Not bad experiences. I met a lot of Dave's posters in Hongdae on my second weekend in Korea. They really liked to drink and party, I hate drinking and partying, so there was a bit of a personality clash but there were no problems that actual night.

However, when I started posting on Dave's again after then everyone I had met had started to attack me quite a bit on here. Why? I can't tell you, I have no idea. I didn't really mean what I said calling them drunkards and everything else, just fighting fire with fire I guess. Can you tell that this thread makes me angry?

This is why I'm glad I keep my personal life and Dave's in two complete spheres of existence.

Becoming friends with people through Dave's is like sleeping with a coworker.

I'm glad that the only Dave's poster I am friends with is happy to sleep in the wet patch.

No, I won't do that to the guy. This all happened completely outside of Dave's and it was only through coincidence that I realized he has a Dave's account.

Before I came to Korea I thought Dave's was a small group of people who all probably knew each other in real life. I thought it was a good place to make friends, and I even posted my real life picture as my icon (if you can remember).

Now I try to keep my personal life off this thing as much as possible...

Nothing too special.

He posted a long thing about how he and his girl broke up and that she was cheating on him.

I sent him a PM that said some stupid shit about her.

He got back together with her.

I'm the most evil dude in history.

Oh

I thought you might have been spreading rumours about him having felt you up when you were out together.

Wish I hadn't asked now.
