Here's a clearer view of the directions from the subway station:
Directions: You can take subway line #6 to Itaewon. Take exit 3 and walk about 5 minutes. Rocky Mountain Tavern is located on the 2nd floor, opposite the International Clinic and Buy The Way. Look for the totem poles outside.
I think it's near the Itaewon Hotel ...
By motorcycle, I have no idea, but if you know where the big Harley-Davidson building is in Hannam-dong, you can go under the overpass onto the main Itaewon street and it will be on your right before you get to the more congested part of Itaewon.
Maybe someone else can give better directions for motor vehicles... |

| If you - or anyone - wants to do something constructive here just try to give some directions to "karma police" on how to drive to Itaewon - he (or she) knows where City Hall is, I guess... |

For newcomers, here's a map of Itaewon - the Rocky Mountain Tavern is somewhere near the Itaewon Hotel and Thai Orchid (now Thai Gardens) - at the far right.

Here's a simple map of Seoul. Itaewon is near the lower right hand corner (and RMT is located on the opposite end of the strip from McDonalds - on the other side of the street):

This is a good cause.
This thread has been cleaned up and put back out because these dogs need a home--they do NOT need people screwing up this thread with fighting.
Any more problems and those responsible will be dealt with swiftly and unmercifully. |

Thanks canuckistan!
We have a really good response so far, judging by the feedback we should have somewhere between 50 and 100 people coming along.
In case anyone missed it I will buy a beer for any Dave's members there on the night - just introduce yourself to the 6 foot Australian battler with short hair and dark skin, that will be me (there shouldn't be more than 10 people there fitting that description...
We will be on the top (second) floor of the RMT - Seoul City Improv start at 9pm, The Mechanical Seals and The 40 Days after that. Raffle is 1,000 won per ticket to win an iPod Nano, Wine, Scotch and other prizes.
Hopefully see everyone there! |

karma police, if you are driving, find exit 3 Itaewon station-walk in that direction for close to 5 minutes-it's on that side-the sign is not that big-on the right, about maybe 9 feet from the ground.
now, rmt...WHEN WILL YOU START SHOWING GMAES AGAIN-GET THE FEED OUT OF VANCOUVER IF YOU HAVE TO!!! |

I could maybe stick him under my sweater, wear a wig - and disguise myself as a woman ...
Seriously, though, I'm sure that they wouldn't charge for a dog, and even if normally dogs are never brought there - they would probably make an exception for this event.
Plus, the dog - which had been abandoned and was rescued by "White Lotus" - is so small that it's easily carried (like in the palm of your hand...)
Hopefully, the noise from the bands won't be too much for it, though. |
