I wish that newsbin had a mac version...since it doesn't I've been using NZB Drop. However, I hate this program as it crashes a lot and uses a lot of CPU...which it shouldn't.

Any of you mac users also use newsgroups and NZB and have a suggestion for a program that I should be using but somehow cannot find?

(The sad thing too is I bought my copy of newsbin.)

(The even sadder thing is I don't want to use windows on my mac...um its why I went mac, to get away from windows)

Unison isn't strictly a NZB loader/reader program. I don't really want a program that loads up all the groups etc.

Thanks for the input, but I am looking for something similar to newsbin for windows.

I use NZB websites that search through the various groups and then just post a single file that makes downloading much easier.

you can try installing the newsbin pc version with crossover.

i used to run utorrent with crossover awhile back until a decent client came for OS X. CPU load is pretty low compared to running parallels or vm fusion.

Try looking through the newsgroup section at www.slyck.com for clients available on the Mac. I would recommend Unison as well, but I don't know if it loads NZBs or not. If it was updated any time in the past two years, it should (which it probably has). I'd check the Unison website to see if it supports NZBs
