Given that I will be in Korea over Xmas I have decided that only an Xbox will get me through the festive period.

If anyone has any rough idea of what the going rate is for an Xbox at Yongsan I would be grateful to hear it. I guess a 'modded' system is the way to go?

Modding an Xbox unlocks the true potential of this machine, so much so that it would seem odd NOT to get it modded.

Replace the HD, load up the right software and you have the best media player for your home entertainment system bar none.

DivX, XviD, MP3, SVCD, VCD, OGG, anything else, will work brilliantly.

It'll run movies over a network, via regular Windows File Sharing, with its built in ethernet port.

You can also run backup games, copy games onto your HD to play later and a gamut of other functions.

If anything, it's a great media machine for your lounge, with the ability to play some killer games too.

Now as for your original question (where and how much), I have no idea. :D
