Nope. And Roman Catholic priests aren't the only people who've abused children. I'd daresay that they're not even the majority of that particular demographic. Nor would I say the majority of Roman Catholic priests are pedophiles.

Of course it's our job to teach...to teach English. A student asking what a wisdom tooth is does not require a lecture in Evolution to get the answer. The teacher can provide the dictionary definition. If he's lucky and still has his wisdom teeth, he can even point to it and say, "It's this tooth here. See?" If the teacher wants, he could also give a little cultural info by explaining why the thing's called a wisdom tooth instead of just being called a molar.

Firstly, you are on crack. As your rampaging pointless thread showed.
Secondly, where did I say all religious folk are paedophiles?
Thirdly, isn't there something in the bible about not judging others, loving your enemy, and not casting the first stone? Or are you not a loving Christian but a crack headed self righteous fundy.
I may disagree with many of the theist posters here, but I do not believe them to be paedophiles and would probably find them quite amiable in person.

I got to have my test/conversations with CCC today.
I saw a group of young men huddled outside my classroom
talking in a low tone with hands full of leaflets and I knew
immediately what they were up to. Is this a nation-wide
thing going on? Anyways, it went somthing like this:
"Excuse me teacher, I belong..." My instant reply, "No."
"Uh...we are club and...", "No."
"We Christian club so...", "No."
"Only last 10 minute and...", "No."
"(Now they converse in Korean), 'No' (More converse'n)."
"Teacher...", "No. Now have a good day guys."
I walk into my class and begin my lesson. I thought it was a good and productive conversation...No? |

I see the problem here. Homo sapiens neandertalensis and Cro Magnum evolved independently, and at the same time. Cro-magnum is, basically us. Neandertal was probably outbred and couldn't compete with our population growth. Had this been explained correctly, no doubt she would have cast her Bible onto a bunsen burner in the science lab, using the modern equivalent of the flames of Hell to remove that wicked tome from her memories. Hand and hand with apes, she would have gaily skipped off to her next class, and you would have been the hero, save for this slight communication error. Alas.

| I looked on google and found many websites done by athiest mocking the Christian faith. You athiests must have so much hatred that you make websites to look like they are real but in reality are satires of the Christian faith. Couple Landover Baptist and Objective ministries and others such as truechristian.com. You guys really need some help. |

I was teaching a winter class at my university last month. I had the same thing happen with a christian group.
I took a break from my Freshman students, and they (the christian group) stormed in there while I was getting some water. When I came back, a few young korean women stalled me and offered me candy and sweets and other garbage. They were singing in there and passing around pamphlets and amping up my students high on sugar.
I let it go on for a few minutes, then I had enough and just entered back into my classroom and had them clean it up. It took 10 minutes to get the kids finishing their heaps of sugar garbage all over their desks and get their wrappers off the floors and tables.
In short, they pretty much ruined my class for the day. They had about no attention span for learning any kind of English whatsoever after that intrustion. |

What Christian faith was that? There are 1000s of Christian faiths, all clinging to something different. Which one was mocked? You people are the real blasphemers. None of you follow in Jesus' footsteps. Not a one of you. You don't even try. You brag about your piety and get together in groups to pat each other on the back that you are saved while condescending to the poor, uninformed. Then you go out to convert/pervert/brainwash those who are just living hand to mouth, asking them to trust in the Lord, and give generously. You are all as false as your televangelists and are as helpful to society as the plagues visited upon Egypt. Guess what! I believe in Jesus, and I love his parables as they make sense to me.
