There's a good chance you'd find 5,000 places to buy sex in Yongin alone. Just stand on a corner and play count the barber poles, not to mention the norae-bba. |

I completely forgot something and I retract my earlier statements. The OP is right. I learned in Korea that kimchee cures AIDS (as well as SARS and some other things). Koreans will NEVER get the hardcore STDs as long as they keep eating pickled cabbage.
Time to go to the booking room, guys. Leave your rubbers at home. |

Wikipedia weighs in:

One OBGYN told me that everybody tests positive for herpes. |
That's nearly true though. Almost everyone probably has herpes. Most people just get one cold sore on their mouth once in their life, and it remains dormant. Some people get absolutely no symptoms. This is called Herpes Simplex Virus 1.
By the way, I highly doubt you understood her. What do you mean by "tests positive"? The most common type of tests for herpes are viral cultures, which requires a swab of an infected sore. If somebody has an infected sore and they get it swabbed, then the test confirms whether it is herpes or not.
By the way, are some people in this thread too stupid to realize they've ruined it with a long link? Learn how to use the computer, man. |

Not gonna link research, too much work.
HPV stays with you for life, can commonly cause warts (which is how people know they have it) - doesn't happen to everyone, and can cause cervical cancer (which is why they are now vaccinating young women for it in the U.S.)
20% of American adults have Genital Herpes ( 80% of people have herpes which can cause cold sores - this is not an STD - you can get it from sharing a fork), Genital Herpes also doesn't ever go away.
It's a good thing I had sex-ed in highschool - maybe some of you folks need to do some more research.......
25% of teens seems pretty reasonable to me. |

I had to work to get that link in the first place, as I searched the site, but the URL in the address bar simply said "bbc.co.uk." I tried the "share this with a friend" link, but that didn't give me the URL, so I just right-clicked "save this address."
I was doing it on a Korean-language PC, but I normally use a Mac (in English.) If you've got some expertise, feel free to share.
I'd find another link now that I'm at home, but it seems wrong to jump through hoops in response to such an abrasive suggestion. However, if you want to find the link yourself, I'll edit mine. |

I heard this on the BBC world service Thursday-I thought I'd pass and let STEVEMCGARRETT post about it in CAPITAL LETTERS as the rate jumps TO 50 PERCENT for african-american females. |

I can't wait until the CDC tests 839 boys. I look forward to those results, which would say:
100% of boys surveyed said they had sex
40% of boys surveyed actually had sex and not lying.
8% of boys surveyed (from the farming belt) had diseases associated with bestiality. |

In medicine, "nearly" isn't good enough. Plus, it just smacks of ignorance. Right after he said that, he prescribed me meds to soothe the symptoms and asked for money. If that's all a doctor can say and do, don't need 'em.

I've gotten cold sores, but whatever it was, it wasn't HSV 1.

Ask him.
I got a DNA test that said I had no form of HSV whatsoever. So I guess I defy the odds of "nearly" and "almost everyone" eh? UNBEWEAVABLE. |
