I have a 4 year old male cat that I rescued from a shelter almost for years ago. I don't have a proper home to take care of him anymore.

I would like someone to adopt him.

If you are interested please PM me for details

Hi vegetable,

Do you have a photograph of your cat, and additional details (such as colour, temperment, neutered, location, etc)?

You can also try posting on www.animalrescuekorea.org

There is a special forum for finding homes for cats, dogs, and other animals in need.

i always like to throw out the disclaimer that i don't intend to take the little guy home for the fact that i plan to travel. but i have 7 more months in korea and i love cats dogs, and animals a lot. and would be glad to be their friend until a proper home can be found. i am in daegu, and for the past 3 months my best buddy was a big fat cat. if you're desperate for a place for him to stay let me know.

He had a thorough exam and neutering after I brought him home.

He was just skin and bones literally and wouldn't eat for a few weeks.

He doesn't like too many humans. Understandably so. It took awhile for him to like me and even now he is very cautious. I think this is a good thing because he has a good fear instinct and hence good survival skills should he ever be on the street.

He might be better off on the street. I've noticed a few cats around the market here and they look well fed and even some of the adjummas call to them and fed them scraps etc.

Maybe a better life than trapped in an apartment or cage.

He isn't mean or a brute. He likes a lot of affection and a sunny place to lie and watch birds, cars, people, leaves and clouds and trees etc.
He hates when I leave and he loves when I come home. He cries loud. He talks sweetly and he sings with soul. He's often very vocal.

He has never had any health problems. Ocassionally coughs up a hair ball with his dinner but nothing serious. He has lots of energy and strength and has a daily opportunity to play outside everyday on the roof top.

He's cool. I'm going to miss him so much.

I can't post a picture as I don't have the equipment to do that.

He is a three color cat which apparently in Korea is of special significance.

Brown with greenish yellowish stripes. But my eyesight isn't very good so he might look different to you.

Does it matter what he looks like? Question

Anyways thanks for the interest.

I don't know if I'd agree that the cats in the street have a better deal than ones that live in an apartment.
In comparison to locked up in a cage, yes, probably.

At least the cats in apartments (should) get vet check-ups, be without parasites and diseases, and won't get killed or maimed by passing vehicles.
That's the hope at least Smile

I hope you've found a home for him, he sounds like a special cat.

Any luck so far?

I, too, have a cat that may need a new home. I'm moving into a new place and it's yet to be seen if I can have pets or if I'm able to smuggle one in. If you're looking for a cat keep an eye out for me, I might be looking for his home after I find mine.
