If I need to send money home, and I have no proof of income, will this be a problem, or is there a possibility I can get away with it?

What if I have a pay stub, but I want to send more money home then what it says I make in one month?

I have a feeling this will be like everything else with Korea, it will depend on who I deal with, what bank I deal with, and if I tell them they have really good English, and sweet talk them.

There must be a way I can just walk into the bank drop 3.5mil on the counter and tell them to wire it home. I have a super old pay stub for 2.2, and my passport...I mean worst case scenario they say no.

While I have had problems with KB bank in the past, transferring money was not one of them. I was shown to a English speaking banker, and he filled out the form for me. I didn't have to show proof of income. All I needed to tell him was the number for the account into which I was depositing the money. I have transferred money several times, and never had problems. I do believe that you may need your passport, but am unsure. Good luck!

Well I"m going to be in Seoul transferring the money there, I'll have a passport. So I'll try a KB bank in Seoul somewhere, and see how that goes.
