my wife is a filipina and i am an english teacher from the usa. my wife is preggers and wants her older sister to be here when she delivers. my sister-in-law is a university graduate and has a degree in chemistry. she speaks fluent and perfect english. my question is.... can she get a job here in korea? other than a factory worker or entertainer? we want her to live with us. thanks for any advice on this matter

Probably have a hard/impossible time just getting a tourist visa.

Until they change the rules, she will not likely get anything other than a C3 (90 day tourist visa).

There are rumors that the change may occur by December (or possibly even September).

You could get them both entertainer visas no prob.Smile

If you can get her here and she speaks E she can get a job teaching, easily...

I believe she has to have graduated from an English speaking University from an English speaking country

My filipina wife is pregnant too. I suggested to my wife on the weekend that I could take one for the team and marry our sons' 18 year old nanny so she could live with us here. For a little thang, she sure can hit hard.
