For those who haven't found it--
It's an interactive google earth where one can label all kinds of landmarks. Works well if you know your way around a bird's eye view. I figure people can tag the more well traveled sites around town. A lot has been tagged already.

My internet explorer wouldn't open it. Pile of crap!
Mozilla did however. |

If this satellite image is available to the public imagine what kind of satellite imagery the government has access to!!

To most people it'd be 'hey I'm sat on my ass watching the tv' The government will learn nothing! |

Fun! I put my hometown on the map, and added some photos for Cheonggyecheon and a couple other places. I wanted to fix a few things but you need to register to do what I wanted. Maybe later.
All in all, lot of fun but needs higher res scans of more areas and the pop up window for places needs a lot of work. (Should look nicer, be resizeable, no crappy google ads, etc.) |

It's a nice feature of wiki...I've been able to do a little research on prospective schools by looking at that site. Helps me figure out what is near by. |

Cool! In Changwon I found my apartment and my school but the pic needs updating. The empty lots on either side of my little 2 story school both now have 12 story buildings in them.
Also, it would be nice if there was a way to turn off the white squares. Makes it tougher to find landmarks on via visual reference. |

Yeah it's not the most current and sometimes the closer views are iffy. My school has been completely rebuilt in the last year and the wiki picture is completely different. I figure it's good for marking landmarks and subway stations as well, especially when used in tandem with the seoul transit map. |

Actually a worthwhile endeavor.
Although the temptation to label everything as "mine" is ridiculous. |
