So earllier today I got into a shouting match with some woman. I was wrong she was wrong that is neither here nor there. The whole disagreement was taking place in Korean. Anyhow it got to the point where I was way beyond my korean ability and I finally said I can't speak Korean I have to go.
Well she responded to me with "what are we speaking Chinese?"
I did give up because the arguement was going in circles, but it was nice to at least once that someone didn't see white skin and start speaking to me in broken English. I guess it is a compliment on my Korean ability or esle a testamant to her desire to win that she didn't even blink an eye about the fact that I could speak Korean. |
