I have used the search button and I have also tried to read some of the post here but I can not find the answer.

I have bad credit due to my younger days of having alot of credit cards and I was told I can not get a visa because of this (this is from soneone from the mid east who helps people from those countries come into the US). Is this true?

There is no truth to that. (If you are talking about work visa for Korea)

(If you're talking about VISA the credit card, your credit rating doesn't always stay the same. After 7yrs, items that brought your rating down are erased from your record.)

Hey thanks guys for the reply. I think this person was talking about a student visa instead of a work visa.

7 years is a standard for the US I think. Of course, things like student loans never drop from your record.
