|
|
Tomorrow will be my first ride on the train. I was looking on the KTX website and there are 3 types of tickets:
First, Standard and then Standing/Not assigned.
Standing/Not assigned. What does this mean? Is it like stand-by or standing up... as in not sitting.
Anyone with KTX experience, can you clear this up for me?
Thanks! |

It means you don't have a reserved seat. There is a special carriage at the back of the train with unassigned seating, but this will fill up fast especially if you're travelling at the weekend. Otherwise, you can take your chances on any empty seats but prepare to be evicted. If all else fails, you can sit on your bags between carriages. |

I'm riding the KTX tomorrow myself, and we all might end up standing-room only. Last time I took a KTX, they had a dining car that wasn't crowded at all. Gonna plant myself in there and start drinking at 8:30am. |
