|
|
My wife just joined me in Seoul and is pretty bored. She will be here for the next three months and I am looking for information on cooking, dance, yoga, hairstyling, or other classes. She speaks Korean, English, and Russian.
I have searched this site and the internet for her, but I am looking for more firsthand knowledge.
Any ideas or links? |

Don't mind this a$$ clown. His 'colorful' quotes and avatar have been bringing down the quality of the board for the last few weeks/months.
Just look around the neighborhood next to your school. Just a few ideas:
Martial arts classes for self-defense.
Going to a gym.
Find a YMCA, hagwon, church or a university that teaches Korean or even Japanese and Chinese or other languages to foreigners.
Saunas are hit and miss here and are divided by sex. Jimjilbangs have nice steam rooms to kill a few hours.
You might get lucky to find a swimming pool in your area.
She could pick up piano at a music academy.
Just a few ideas. |

Do I have to be the one to say it.....She can teach private lessons and make money. Of course that is what she will be doing. That is what every single person who doesn't have a full time job is doing in Korea. She stays with you at your place and everything she makes is gravy.
OR she could take some cheap tours around Korea. She could see the sites (such as they are) in Korea. There are many place to go, mountians to climb, and people to meet. |
