Go w/ the Asus P5K-C...all around better board. And you don't have to mess around using up an extra slot for your ext e-sata connection. Very Happy

Personally, I'd go w/ 2x2g 6400...but if you want to go w/ 2g, go w/ pc8500.

If you don't plan to watch games on it, then 1,000,000 is overkill IMO. I'd cut down the price on the tower-get a midrange dual core and low/mid end graphics card and save the extra $$ or spend it on a second monitor or something.

With that in mind, might I suggest this:

MB: Gigabyte P35-DS3R 130,000
CPU: C2Q Q6600 230,000
RAM: 4GB 2x2GB 100,000
HDD: 2x500, 1x250GB 250,000
VGA: Radeon 3650 100,000
Power: Zalman 500watt - 90,000
Case/mouse/keys: 50,000

Total: 950,000 KRW

Thanks! That looks really good.

This may not be the best place to ask this, but would I be ok running XP 32-bit or should I upgrade to Windows Vista 64-bit so I can easily add more memory in the future?

64 bit. You'll need it to take full advantage of the 4GB anyway. And unless things have changed I might go with a different power supply. Zalman tends to be a little overpriced. Solid product though, and better than getting the cheapest you can find. (Generally a very bad idea)

Zalmans are a very good price here. That power supply in the States is about $40 or so more expensive.

Check reviews and such on Newegg.com and then find the prices on Danawa, that's how I'm picking components for my build.

Another question...

Will they install any OS I want free of charge (say, English Vista Ultimate 64 bit) or will I need to bring it to them? The last computer I had built came with XP English but it's pirated. Confused

I found this page on danawa, fwiw.

They will charge you extra to install windows + the cost of windows.

You can get a pirated copy of whatever they happen to have handy for the cost of the install (about 20k won).

If you want a legal copy, it is extra. There are LEGAL Microsoft retailers in the I'Park mall and Terminal buildings.
