| Does anyone know a good site to search for and download documentaries (for free and if possible a sight I don't have to register with)? I am interested in finding both short and medium length documentaries for in class use. |

More documentaries than you could watch in a lifetime, but you will have to install a bittorrent client. It is generally pretty easy to setup, and I think there are instructions on that page.

Unsurprisingly, nobody mentioned "Hoop Dreams". An early 90s look at two inner-city kids trying to make it to the NBA. Phenomenal film.
Also, "Scared Straight", and "Hearts Of Darkness". |
