|
|
Hi,
Im new to Korea and have recently been given my flat, its nice enough but the walls look a bit bare. Id like to get a few posters (maybe WWE ones or ones of rock bands, movies etc) to brighten up the place. Iv looked around the shops and had no luck, they seem to be hard to find.
Are they easy enough to find?
Perhaps someone knows of a website where I could buy them online, bare in mind I dont speak Korean...
Thanks |

You can order them from www.allposters.com. I've never actually ordered from them, but I know they have different sales every week, so wait until you see a good one (25% off everything or something...free shipping won't work here).
I've heard that there's a poster store in Myeong-dong, but I've never seen it. Quite frankly it sounds made up.
The other option is to take random posters from the street, movie theatres, etc. You won't get exactly what you want, but it can fill some of the empty space that you find in a new apartment. I don't know what I'd do without my D-War poster. |

Music/DVD shops often have stacks of unused posters that they will give away for free. Just ask. |

if all else fails, Kyobo bookstore at Gwanghwamun and Gagnam stations in Seoul have a section that carries posters, though I think they're mostly arty stuff |
