My names are different on my degree and my passport as i got my degree before I was married and my passport is in my married name. Do immigration have an issue with this? My police check did a search in both names but are they going to come back to me and ask for anything else?

Include your marriage certificate and a note of explanation with everything?

It should probably be notarized and apostilled. Laughing

My name is spelled wrong on my ARC. There's a "N" where there should be a "U." I always wondered if this would be a problem, but it hasn't been to date. One time though, I told them at the airport when I was coming to Korea for the first time from Taiwan that my name was spelled wrong (in the same fashion) and they freaked out and had to issue me another ticket.

Last time I got an E2 it wasn't an issue but with the new regulations I am rather worried that it might be and that they neglected to bring it up until now......so so.....Korean

Yeah, the diploma has to be the original OR an apostilled copyunless you live in a non-apostille country (Canada, for instance), in which case the copy has to be stamped by the Korean consulate there.

that is may well what they will want.

i am so over this. like it is easy to get a fake federal police clearance so therefore it has to have that stupid stamp on it. honestly, the stamp took them 30 seconds to do and they charged me $60!

I feel a rant coming on....remind me again why i am going back to korea...
