What I said before echoes true.

Someone said 'back home is going to the dogs'.
However, I can't think of a time when it was not 'going to the dogs'.
Great Depression, World War 2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Nixon ridding the gold standard sending the markets into a plunge, gas shortage of the 1970's, Reagan-omics, 1988 stock market crash, recession of the early 1990's and the Gulf War.
A nice boom in the Clinton era.
Again, war, recession.
Yet most people weathered it well and are nicely retired.
My friend from China said 'In Asia, when things go wrong, the wheels stop. In North America, when things go wrong, the wheels of the economy just turn slower, but they still move.'
Anyways, my point is, the west ain't any worse that anywhere else.

It may be OK for a lot of people but it's still really boring and the PC nonesense is just too much to take. All the postering that younger North Americans do these days is just plain obnoxious and most of the 30+ crowd is mired down in repetative family life.

How about a forum for those people who don't know the difference between:

its/it's
their/they're/there
your/you're
definitely/definately
...

Hahaha, KimchiExplosion, I love your avatar. The Fashion Show was so hilariously awful. I couldn't help but wonder if the "I was visiting my family in Japan" was meant as a national attack
