what is the best way to explain a broken contract when looking for a job here in Korea? for example: say you quit due to bad health conditions or the boss lying about pay? I would still like to maintain that i have some teaching experience in Korea. thanks

I was under the impression it can't be done but then I went to worknplay and they insisted once I handed in the ARC card at the airport then I'm good for a new visa, I asked if I had to wait until the time frame on my old visa expired and they said no so it's game on! Evil or Very Mad

I told them the truth, I worked for a shitty hagwon who rimmed my arsehole and they were fine with it. They all know what the score is with hagwons are by now. If I get past the Korean embassy in the UK and they issue me with another visa is another story.

But Elliemk has had 6 jobs in the past year (thus 6 different visas) then they must be giving visas out to anyone! In these fraught times, I don't think they are going to fire you off because you didn't finish your last contract! Cool

If you put on the name of the hagwon, but not the location or contact details, they'd probably never be able to track them down for a reference. Then, if they ask you about it later, you can explain why they shouldn't call up your old horrible boss.
