I drink a cup of coffee between each class. Also drink 2 or 3 before I start and sometimes one or two right before I leave. Sometimes I get up to 8 or 9 cups a day, maybe ten, at work.

I'm actually drinking a cup right now and have had about 3 or 4 after work. Just finished this one and will get another.

There are empty paper cups sitting on my chalkboard shelf pile up 5 or so right now. Failed to throw those away although I'm usually pretty good with that.

So one young girl today grabs my hand and proclaims, as we were leaving the class and I was on the way downstairs for another cup of coffee and she on her way home, "You are the coffee king."

I'm quite honored.

I remember once not drinking coffee, tea. pepsi or any kind of caffine for 18 months and then one day I went home to see my parents and my dad made me a nice cup of tea and I thought 'hmmm that tastes nice' and then I had cafe con leche and for hours after - well into dawn - I was buzzing my head off - I could not sleep and was doing hundreds of press ups in my parents living room!

It was like I took a shedload of whizz... Shocked

Instant coffee does not qualify as coffee.

You are the king of ersatz, well done.

Not at all. Within days of moving into my first apartment here I spent a pile of money buying a good quality espresso machine. Not far from my house is a coffee shop, the owner learnt how to roast beans in Italy and sells me small amounts of freshly roasted and ground coffee on a regular basis.

I have a lovely espresso every morning, unless my gf is there for breakfast, in which case I make two lattes.

I do the instant coffee at work, generally only one per day, as an afternoon energy boost.

Three days a week when I finish early I go to the aforementioned coffee shop and have a coffee there while I study Korean.

I get sufficient good coffee that I am more than content.

What are you drinking?

It's good sheeeeeeeet. You and your girlfriend can come over for a cup this summer.

But you're right. At work I drink from the coffee machine. You can drink that stuff all day. Enough of it though and you get the perma buzz.

My second kid is not sleeping well at the moment so I think I'm level pegging with you there yingwenlaoshi.

I'm only drinking the old Mocha gold mix stuff that every single school in Korea has.

One first thing, one before first class. between classes (5 classes today). Couple in the free time in the afternoon. I'm killing myself!!!
