Today I had my cross trainer delivered to my sister in law. It had been gathering dust so I figured she could use it. I had to laugh when the mover arrived. This tiny old man, who could barely lift 10 pounds, never mind a cross trainer shows up at my door. In the end I did most of the heavy lifting on to the trolley. This is the second time this has happened. A few years ago I had a sofa delivered and the guy had to be at least 65. |

We had a 52" plasma delivered a few weeks ago, and the old delivery man was apparently complaining that he could not lift it himself. My heavily pregnany wife ended up moving it (I was at work). Madness! Surely the delivery company must have known it would be a problem as soon as they realised he couldn't lift it onto the truck! |

drkalbi, your avatar nearly made me lose my coffee all over the screen. Luckily my co-teachers had left so I could just let it out my nose. .....
