On a slightly more realistic note, I would think about trying coffee shops. I have been to quite a few, and there are rarely any males, but many females. Some appear to be studying English. Just offer some exchange of language and I am sure an exchange of fluids will soon follow.

Get thee hence to the nearest Raellian "church". There's one in Anguk-dong, very near Deoksu(?) Palace (the one where the Secret Garden is).

true, but would you want to continue to hang out with some korean lady you met in a pickup joint?

and, for the record, i met 2 women from ublove that, had i met them in week 1 of korea, before i got fed up with the place, i would have happily married them. quality betties. they do exist.

but it seems the OP just wants to spend part of his 1 year sojourn getting his weewee sucked. ublove will suit his purposes just fine.

Why go to a pickup joint. Just go to the nearest Baskin-Robbins or Dunkin' Donuts. Most of the (sit-down) customers there are women. One only need go there armed with a Korean language text, and "innocently" ask a woman a Korean language question. It gets your foot in the door, and a helluva lot easier than any pickup joint.

I used that very strategy in Japan, and it was 10x easier sitting in Mr.Donut or Starbucks than liquoring them up in any bar in Roppongi.

Yeah, there are a lot of women who hang out there. I used to be a Dunkin Donuts open next to the Homeplus in Cheongju. One time after grocery shopping, I stopped in to grab a coffee. As soon as I stepped in the door, most of the people turned to look at me, and there were quite a few smiles. At the time, I had a girlfriend, so I just took the stares and smiles as a compliment. A little while later I know why I got the attention. The box that I grabbed to put my stuff in at Homeplus was a soju box.

Yes, on page 1.

Honestly, OP, maybe you aren't being silly and you really do need advice.

Go with a friend to places near universities. Hongik University is a popular spot and infamous for white guys picking up Korean girls. But don't limit yourself.

Get involved in some other activities and clubs. Make friends and network, because a solid girlfriend is better to have around for a while than a juicy girl you meet at a club for a night.

For guys who have lived in Seoul and know the scene, what spots do u recommend for picking up chicks? Also, what is the best time to go?
Specific club/bar names please.

Just need to have a little fun, too much bs at the workplace.

Tin Pan, Hongdae.

Make sure you don't forget to wear a tight fitting t-shirt, speak only English, and know how to dance to top-40 hip hop.
