Do any of you guys know recruiters that recruit for universities? Please post email addresses/links if you do? From what I gather from reading threads here it seems like working for a University is better than non-University employment. Is this pretty much a general consensus? Anyway I'd appreciate some hook ups to recruiters for Universities.

Most universities hire themselves. I don't know of any recruiters doing it, even for the worst unigwons.

They have less hours and more vacation, but the pay is usually less than public schools or hagwons. It's up to you, for me, the vacation time is much more worth it.

Generally, recruiters don't work for universities. Universities usually do their own hiring. The universities main hiring time is for March 1 and their secondary hiring time is for Sept 1.

Many universities will only post internally on their websites, however I got my unversity job on Daves.

Hope this helps.

And just to add-

you'll do better getting a uni job WITHOUT a recruiter....any uni that needs a recruiter to fill a post is likely unimaginably awful.

cheers and good luck.

Only the major universities (SNU, Yonsei etc.) advertise jobs on their English-language websites, so it'd be a big advantage to have a Korean speaker help you search (you could maybe pay them a recruiter fee if you get a job through them).
