Yeah. I was wondering what to say to OneWayTraffic. It is just a television show, man. An intense one that has us glued to it, no doubt. But just a television show nonetheless.

There are no robot husbands, either. Relax.

No need to state the patently obvious.

Obviously you've never experienced Post Partum Depression first or second hand. Trust me, logic can go out the window. She wasn't thinking rationally, which was the whole point. And it happens to millions of normal women, who haven't experienced genocide, prison camps, crowed conditions on old spaceships and robot husbands.

Next on Oprah Rolling Eyes

The writing was realistic given the stresses the character was under. Do you disagree with my point or do you just like to post your baby photos for kicks?

I was thinking Laura, too. She shares dreams with Cylons; they all see and interact with each other in them. And the power-outage between the last episode of the last season and the first episode of the current season seemed to destabilize her just before it hit the fleet.

But they will likely keep the final Cylon to themselves -- the show's producers, that is -- until the show's last two or three episodes. They are going to string us along until then, damn them. Unless they reawaken Deanna and she tells us who she saw.

I so rarely love a television show. This is great.

RDM is on record as saying that Adama and Roslin are both human. He views it as central to their characters and the show- apparently.

I don't really think that it's going to be any of the talked over options. He's more likely to throw a curveball.

This show mostly annoys me now. I watched it up til now because I needed something to watch on the subway and it's nice to have a little sci-fi for a change. But it feels like a soap opera for nerds. Who will the last "skin-job" be? Stay tuned to find out! And the dialogues between the Pres and Commander Adama, Thrace and her hubby, etc...ugh. I hope they focus more on the cylons. They're in-fighting and attempts to understand themselves are much more interesting than anything the humans are doing.

I just watched the next episode. There does not seem much to report and/or discuss.

Balter has become "Jesus" and is preaching monotheism, apparently aligning at least some of the humans with Cylon religious practices. Apollo and Laura remain on a collision course. The Chief has screwed himself out of his job. The Indian chick is accepting and going with her Cylonness more than any of the other of the final five. And Tigh and Six have become so close I do not understand how she cannot make him for a Cylon.

It is going too slow. I feel that the producers are stringing us along and it has become something of a soap opera, where two long lost brothers take three weeks of daily episodes to slowly connect or what-have-you...

I would like the producers to start getting to the point on at least some of the complex questions that have raised in the first three seasons. It annoys a bit that they continue raising new questions instead.

As Ed called it, a couple eps of hot FX are followed by eps of two people in a room filmed at weird camera angles. The tracking shot along the flight bay with the guy in the space suit was darn cool. But the rest of the ep was a can show.

Yeah, very little really happened in this ep. Laura is wearing a wig signaling she's near the end.

i thought it was a great episode.

it doesnt feel soap opera to me, however the dramatic aspect has been notched up while the action has been lesser. theyre not advancing the plot very much right now, but thats fine by me. i like this character exploration theyre doing

I thought the last episode was boring as hell.

Way too much like a soap opera. Way too much of the same old, same old.

I hate LOST type plots where I get nothing for watching a show that particular week.

I want plot development. They are on their last season, so they should pack the eps in and make the storyline good and complete.

well, technically, it's not the last season (since theyre breaking it in twain), but in essence it is. sorry for splitting hairs. but i agree, one would think the plot development would be picking up, but we still have 16 episodes to go. it's all going to hinge on starbuck

I'd say he was becoming Whitney Houston. I swear he almost started singing, "The Greatest Love of All."

Baltar has become the kind of Jesus I'd want to be. The one with all the subservient female disciples!

what does anyone think about baltar being "physically" picked up by 6? was that in his mind, too? or is she able to physically affect him? and whats your theory on why she appears to him? hallucination brought on by guilt? implant (my guess)? baltars a cylon? something else?

also, what happens to people who have identical twins tripletes quadruplets, etc. shouldnt they be thrown in the brig until proven human?

inquiring nerds wanna know

Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't the Prez beat cancer with some cylon blood injected into her before? If the cancer is back, why not inject again??

And how did six lift up Baltar? And why can't they spread out the FX?

I'm losing interest quick. This Friday better be more than a sci-fi Days of our Lives, with a magical Stefano and possessed Marlana. More killing and civil war in Cylon land, please.

I think this woman who looks like Six but is not Six appears before Baltar just as the one who looks like Leoben but is not Leoben appears before Starbuck. I think there may be something religious if not angelic to it, perhaps based on or spun off from the white lights from the original series. You asked for a guess. I think they might be angels or something else like them.
