Hey all
I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm looking to create a list of as many hogwans in Korea as I can. Does anyone out there know of an existing list I can work from? Otherwise, can you send me the name and contact information of the hogwans you work for? The more the merrier, so keep 'em coming!

So you want a list of say, 15000 hogwans? Can I ask why? Are you going to rate them? Sort them by speciality? Create a directory? Are you going to keep it updated? |

Yes, sorry...let me clarify.
I'm looking for English language hogwans, regardless of whether they employ foreigners or not - though how many of them don't, I wonder...?
I'm hoping to create a directory, of sorts, but nothing terribly official. I'm not even remotely hoping that it will be complete, but I am looking to get a lot of names and contact information.
All the schools in a chain wouldn't be necessary, I don't think, if they have a website that might show some of their other locations.
Thanks again!

Hahaha...no, really, I don't want to be a recruiter...I'm just looking to create a loose database for a project I'm working on.

I went to Daum's mapping site, typed in 학원 and got 69,806 results.
Doing the same on Naver's mapping site only got me the 1,000 results and a suggestion to search by area to find the rest. |

No need to be snarky...I just asked...a simple no or - better yet - no reply at all would have sufficed... |

The point, as I mentioned, is that I am working on a personal project, hence I will gain from it. I've just thrown it out hoping a few people would be willing to send me a link or a name...no biggie. If you can't/don't want to help, don't, no worries. I'm a little confused as to how this simple request has opened for you a window with a view onto my social life, though...I think you're reading a little too much into a few words you read in a forum.
Thanks for your feedback, nonetheless. If anyone out there has anything more productive to say, I'd love to hear it. The more information I can find, the better

Just like back home there are agencies that specialize in this sort of things.
What you are looking for is a business directory aka business list. The more detailed you want the data to be, the more it will cost. You will of course have to pay for it. In my experience these range from a four to five figure dollar range, depending on what you want.
I doubt this forum will be of much help in what you're seeking.
Good luck. |
