You left off India from your list.
mises,
Last night, I was talking with some friends and I said I think that particular pastor hates Blacks. They said, "But HE is Black!" I told them that I knew that. It seems to me that your thesis may very well be the case. |
Did you see Obama's lil'talk today? His anger was quite noticeable. I would like to have been a fly on the wall when Obama and his wife saw the NAACP talk Wright gave.. |

What is the problem with Rev Wright? From what I've seen, he's never said anything racist, sexist or completely derogatory toward Americans.
Can someone please tell me what the issue is, because I haven't seen it. |
He recently was quoted saying the US government fabricated the AIDS virus deliberately to attack minorities.
Don't know whether that is true or not, but if I was a betting girl.....not! |
AID's isn't real?
Anyone who comments like that should be sectioned, IMHO. |
Of course AIDS is real Spliff, Rev. Wright said it was deliberately, yadda yadda yadda....I, on the other hand was not questioning the existence of AIDS (I'm sure you were being deliberately obtuse - I can appreciate that, it's cute!) merely the Rev's supposition it was made purposefully yadda yadda yadda....
Oh, before I forget, please tell me what IMHO means. Internet acronyms are not my forte. |

Let's see: a black, a woman and a war hero....who do you think is gonna win? |
It would be interesting to have a Native American as a candidate. Why, I don't know. Has there ever been one? I can't think off of the top of my head of any... |
Reminds me of that Chris Rock joke about boxing... "Whoever is on the lower rung of the socio-economic ladder will win the boxing match. That's why a Hispanic will always beat a white guy. That's why a black guy will always beat a Hispanic... and somewhere out there is some Native American just waiting to kick all their asses!" |

So? The US government has experimented on blacks and other minorities for years, lied about what it was doing, and has only recently begun to back-track and apologize to the families of the victims.
How is AIDS any different from this?
If the majority of Americans had any inclination to do some research, you'd see that it's not only Rev. Wright who is suspicious of AIDS, you'll see that many scientists and other academics allude to and say the very same thing.
If you're interested, this is what Wright said:
"The government lied about the Tuskegee experiment. They purposely infected African American men with syphilis. Governments lie. The government lied about bombing Cambodia and Richard Nixon stood in front of the camera, Let me make myself perfectly clear Governments lie. The government lied about the drugs for arms Contra scheme orchestrated by Oliver North, and then the government pardoned all the perpetrators so they could get better jobs in the government. Governments lie. The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. Governments lie. The government lied about a connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein and a connection between 9.11.01 and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Governments lie."
So I ask again, what's the problem, here? Why is this wrong? Why is THIS bad, and John McCain's pastor and "spiritual adviser" (he said this) can say that abortion clinics are systematically killing unborn black babies to commit genocide against black people in the United States without much of a flurry.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zd4IbQ8vfHM
Or Jerry Falwell, another spiritual adviser, can say that God brought 9/11 on Americans to give us "probably what we deserve", and no one bats an eye.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=H-CAcdta_8I
So tell me again, what's the real issue, here?

Wow. You truly thought that putting his comments verbatim would absolve him from insanity?
Look at his speech. There's evidence for all his assertions. Except for one. That would be the controversial one. |

There is evidence that the drug companies of Western governments use AIDS as a means to control populations in the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa.
As HIV/AIDS spread in Haiti, the US shut down any operation that could help stop the disease, saying that Haitians were "too poor" to reap any benefit. Couple this with the shady origins of HIV in the first place.
How did HIV jump species? How did HIV incubate in the United States for 2 decades with no AIDS cases, then suddenly, the 80s explode? How did HIV suddenly jump from Africa to the United States? What happened to all those AIDS monkeys in California that died?
Anyone have any conclusive answers?
Black people were tested on in the Tuskegee experiments, sterilization experiments, and others. Why, then, does it not follow that black people would continue to be experimented on or killed? To me, it's not such a leap of logic.
Is it 100% true? Probably not. But there is evidence, and Wright is not the only one who thinks so. |

I quoted the relevant part, and skipped past all the apologism. Do you have a link to this evidence? Seriously. Either you've got a foundation for an argument or you don't. |

For those who believe that one of the leading Democratic or Republican candidates will get us out of the mess we are in, I have some bad news.
As Ralph Nader stated, they are two wings of the same party, both of which are financed by the same people, and peopled by the same apparatus. In 2004, the main fundraiser for Bush was the president of Citibank, and the main fundraiser for Kerry was the vice president of Citibank.
Let's go back to the collapse of the Soviet Union when we were supposed to reap a "peace dividend." What did the rulers do? Well, under Clinton there was a greater expenditure for arms than under Reagan!
In 2001, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Air Force Gen. Richard Myers said, "It is very clear that Afghanistan is only a small piece of the US campaign that could last more than a lifetime." This ideology has been a barrage articulated not only by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al., it is also the litany coming from the Democratic party, e.g. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
BO said on Sept. 4, 2007: "Hit Iran where it hurts." "Americans need to come together to confront the challenge posed by Iran. The war in Iraq has strengthened Iran which poses for us the greatest strategic challenge in the Middle East in a generation. Iran supports violent groups and sectarians in Iraq. Iran fuels terror and extremism in the Middle East. Iran is making progress on a nuclear program in defiance of the international community. Iran calls for Israel to be wiped off the map." He follows this up by calling for a pre-emptive military strike on Iran.
On Aug. 3, 2007, speaking at Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of the International School for Scholars, BO called for a US attack on Pakistan, more troops in Afghanistan, and unilateral attacks on Iran and Pakistan, and strengthening the US military and intelligence apparatus across the planet.
You could not fit a sliver of paper in between the ideologies of Dick Cheney and Barack Obama. |

It's not the US government but the internationalists! Do some research: Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group...and look at the people who are on the boards! |

| The US doesn't need a virus to cull the african american population in the states. We have the prison industrial complex to do that. 1 in 10 black males is in the system (that was ten years ago. I'd wager it's higher now. |
