Does anyone have actual knowledge as to whether or not Immi accepts sealed transcripts that are not recent, even though official?

Old as in you graduated awhile ago and had them printed at that time? I don't see why it would matter as long as they show you graduated.

I have used sealed transcripts that had been issued earlier with no problems at all ... I would not expect a problem because the transcripts are reporting on something which has already happened and which does not change over time ... Your grades and the fact that you have graduated does not change over time .. While things like the Criminal Record Check can potentially change over time (thus the specific time period of 6 months mentioned)

It seems to me that everything is fine. If you aren't pressed for time, try having your institution mail you another sealed and stamped official transcript. I learned very quickly to try and be on the side of caution when filling out forms. Have extra copies of everything, make sure everything is fine, and have extra papers in a folder in case someone gives you the run-around.

I hold a BA and MA...do I need to provide transcripts for both?

And how many copies of the transcript does immigration require?

Immigration in Korea only requires one, the consulate in the States require one as well. Not sure on your BA/MA question,

Thanks for your reply regarding the number of copies.

It would save me about $50 if I didn't have to supply a transcript for my BA--mainly due to international shipping charges.

Am I correct in thinking that immi want a transcript from your BA?
Immi won't accept an MA to qualify for an E2 visa.
The seal should be the college/university seal.

I just saw on some recruiters site that transcrips need to be within 3 months. I certainly hope that is nonsense as I have just handed over a sealed transcript I got 13 months ago.

anyone know for certain?

How do you know this, if you kept them sealed? The date could be on the inside.

Are you sure that wasn't for the CBC?
