So I asked one of the travel agents that others on Dave's have recommended about a travel package to Jeju (two people, one week, hotels and such), and get the message back:

A Korean "package" would be escorted and is usually all or almost all inclusive (guides, tours, meals, hotel, air, etc).
If they don't have English speaking guides/tours they will tell you that they don't have "foreigner packages".
You are always free to purchase a "KOREAN" package with Hanatour, Mode-tour, LOTTE-tour or any of the other "tour" companies who provide Korean packages but you can rest assured that you probably will not be happy with it.

Perfectly true! I had that experience when I took a Korean package to Beijing. |

They cater to foreigners and are flexible. I think if you tell them what you want they try to make it happen. |

Not always, my wife had a big argument with one travel agency for this exact some problem. She told them she could translate for me, but their only reasoning was that I wasn't Korean and the tour was for Koreans. |

Jejudo is so small, why do you need a package tour? A package with airfare, car and hotel is one thing, but a tour?
Grab a Lonely Planet and grab the maps at the airport. Rent a car. Sleep in 30,000 rooms every night, or be like me and camp right on the beaches for free. |

Airfare, car, and hotel was what I was asking for. |

Can you read Korean? If so, I can refer you to a few website.
But you will need a Korean to book it for you.
As for car - they do not do those air/hotel/car packages. You can just go on Avis or Hertz to book it yourself. |
