I have been dealing with a few different recruiters, and because of everything I read on this site, to be honest, it makes me a little nervous, as much as I genuinely WANT to find a good job in Korea. The last recruiter that I have been in touch with back and forth a little, is called, Korean Horizons. I'm just wondering if anyone else knows of them, or has any knowledge or experience they would be willing to share.
Thanks, and I'm new here by the way. |

Hey, whats the scoop on Korea Horizons? No one replied, but they are offering public school positions now on this site. I know there are several recruiters for the EPIK program now, but which one is the best in terms of processing for the job, the same job? |

I work with EPIK and was recruited through Woongjin Thinkbig, and they were terrible. They didn't send paperwork to EPIK that they had received much earlier, they screwed up when they were processing my visa issuance and I was late getting to Korea as a result, had to re-schedule flights and things.
Though I am pretty sure it was because of the one person who was my contact not the entire agency, I'll never go through them again. |

I work for a public school, I went with Korevia recruiting, although from what I've read, its not too important which recruiter you use when looking for a public school job, as the hours, rate of pay, contract, is standardized, so it really comes down to if you like the people you work with. This is something a recruiter can't really help you with.
In any event, Henry at Korevia was very professional and helpful, got my school to get me a better apartment, and I would recommend him to anyone.
Best of luck... |
