| Bring your self, no I'm serious, most people come over and forget themselves, and really, that's vital, I mean, that's just a critical error right off the bat, you must be in full posession of your full original genuine self when you arrive, as you won't find a good substitute over here ... if you're a human being, please pm me when you get here, there are so few of us left now ... |

| speaking of girl type products - can u get the pill out there? and what about waxing products/services? i managed to horrify some of my former taiwanese co-teachers when i was trying to ask about that so thought it might be better to consult u guys! |
You can get the minipill (often European brands) without a prescription or a triphasic pill with a prescription. Although my GYN wouldn't write one...she insisted I get the minipill.
There may be places which wax and cater to foreigners. But when I went to every beauty shop in my neighborhood, they were universally HORRIFIED at the idea of waxing on one's face. (I'm not sure what you want to wax, but I have my eyebrows done.) They said, "that's too dangerous so close to your eyes...let us use a straight razor to shave them off." |

| I would bring a years' worth of deodorant, especially if you are particular about brand or are unwilling to pay US$25 for deodorant. |
Where on earth do you go to buy deodorant?
You can get most types of brands at the Namdaemun import market for around 5,000 won per stick/can... |

Open mike nights are cool becuase you can read poetry at them. Or you can go up there unscripted.
give a bell?
GIVE A BELL?
I thought you taught English! |
I said "Give me a bell." i.e. ring me/contact me/etc.
Yes theoretically one could read poetry. But would one expect a response from the crowd?
