I lived in France for 4 months starting in September of 2007. Here's a quick TOP 10 list of things you should pay attention to.

1. Buy a good eurorail pass.

2. Bring a lot of euros because France is expensive.

3. People who say France has excellent food must have brought a TON of euros. Smile

4. French people are friendlier than a lot of rumours say they are.

5. Paris is beautiful.

6. I lived in Dijon, it's also very nice but very small.

7. Many nice cities in France, but many are expensive. My friend went to Lyon one weekend night and couldn't get a hostel in the city, so watch out depending on when you go to some places.

8. Bring lots of euros. Smile

9. Buy your eurorail pass before you get there or else it's more expensive. Check out some nice wine regions and some smaller cities.

10. Bring lots of euros.
