how much warning time will there be?
Will evacuation be total chaos?...
Will we be able to escape okay?
Is taking a new contract in SK dangerous for this reason now?...

This is no joke.
Stubborn warhead people who like to kill people are the joke.

The cards are on the table for it.

Are we safe?

Do I need to buy a small launch and marina berth with my hard earned cash Shocked I cannot afford a helicopter.

Serious answers please. Are we safe?

MAD Mutual assured destruction. Someone attacks, others attack and rather than letting someone be the "winner" and letting more people live than simply taking it like a prison shower scene, everyone takes it in the end.

Watch Wargames.

Seriously, I had a military dude tell me years ago that the only time we (civilians) need to be afraid if they start evacuating the military families and base civilians.

Eat lots of Kimchi. Kimchi can protect you from Nuclear Fallout.

Maybe, but after 10 years your kimchi supply will run out and you will die the inevitable death.

Find yourself a shotgun, a leather jacket and a mutt and name him "Dogmeat." You'll be fine.

Run outside, look for falling missiles / warheads and run towards them, try to catch one. That'll be more fun than the building falling down on you.

Citizens of the USA will be evacuated. The rest of you? Your Canadian flags on your backpacks will protect you. Laughing

Evacuated to WHERE???

If it's a Nuclear (or, for the Busheviks out there, Nucular...) War, there'll be nowhere to run to...

That's a truly moronic statement... even if it was couched in supposed levity, and the dig at Canadian flags protecting Canadians? They'll be just as useful as any 'evacuation' plan the US Embassy - or any other embassy for that matter - tries to implement if this situation arises.

The US couldn't even help their own people in New Orleans before, during and after Hurricane Katrina...do you really think they're competent enough to handle mass evacuations in a time of global war?

I remember reading the Canadian Embassy's evacuation plan for Canadians living in Korea. It made me feel like a 3rd class passanger on the Titanic.
