If you re-sign for another year at a Gepik school but leave before you are 6 months into the second year what (if any) are the consequences? I'm thinking particularly about airfare, would you have to repay half the cost of your return ticket to Korea? |

I would be very suprised if you didn't have similar conditions like that in your next contract ... ie leave before six months - repay return part of airfare ... I would expect that if it does apply it would be included in the contract ... so check before you sign it ... and if you do end up needing to leave before that six month mark .. then be prepared to repay the airfare (and hope they have got a good deal on it ... Or that you got a good deal on it...) |

I am leaving 4 months into my second year. I am paying back 50% of the return airfare. Sounds fair to me. |

Is that in the contract or did you negotiate it after? How? |

The contract says should you leave during the first 6 months, you will pay back the 1 way airfare. 1 way = half of a return. Simple maths.
It also says that if you are fired in your second year, you will pay back the FULL return airfare. Be wary of that one |
