Amen to that. "Green" and "San" soju are pretty terrible as well.
"Chamisul" (the one with the frog on it) is the best at restaurant settings. But first prize goes to Andong soju. That stuff will knock you into next week if you're not careful.
I also agree with an earlier poster that soju can't be beat as a beverage together with certain foods. Raw fish, Budae or Chamchi chigae and Samgeopsal are the best with a bottle or four of soju. |
