The only place where I've noticed Koreans has been in the Philippines. The rest of SE is safe. Oh and I found the country to be expensive and boring. Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, India are all much better. |
Sorry dude, but the Phils rocks! I haven't been to Laos, Cambodia or India yet but I've been to the Phils three times and want to keep going. |
I'm glad you enjoyed the hookers. |

| Anybody got an idea of accomodations frequented by Koreans? I might just like to avoid booking one of those... |

The regency is the one most often used by K-tour packages. |

| I recommend the Blue Mango Inn. It's away from the main activity on White Beach and a nice place to meet people. Mind you, prices on the island keep rising fast so if you are more budget minded, look elsewhere like Dave's Straw Hat Inn and Melinda's. |

I've seen Korean in the Philippines and the men seem to be out and about in their usual groups enjoying themselves in a good-hearted manner.
The younger male and female students there for study are usually strutting around acting like they own the place in their minds. All in a comical, nonchalent way that shouldn't bother you one bit. |

| Similar situation in Manila, the Philippines. PC Bang owned by Koreans. Need Korean ID to enter |
That is illegal in the Philippines. If anybody encounters this, call the police and report the business. Koreans tried that in gambling house in Davao and they were shut down. Immigration is swift when it comes to koreans nowadays there. |
