				| Someone should ring Bill Cosby and pitch this idea. Koreans just come up with the oddest stuff sometimes.
The other day in the office, one of the Korean teachers asked my, admittedly overweight, coworker, "Do you eat a lot of marshmallows?"

To which my perplexed coworker replied, "Um, no. Why?"

"Well" she said, " marshmallows are very high in calories so I thought you must eat a lot of them."

Aside from being very rude (I just call it Korean honesty), is she just nuts? Or do Koreans believe marshmallows especially contribute to obesity?

				| Im glad you started this thread.
At my job a lot of the people are dating each other. Its an open secret.

Yesterday one of the girls was upset, her sister was injured in an accident. There is a Kyopo dating the injured girl here.

 At lunch:

Lush: So what did you do last night?
Her: I saw my sisters gash
(she has a 7 inch cut in her right forearm)
Kyopo (while winking at me): Yeah, SO DID I!

 Priceless!

				| The only one I can remember off the top of my head is that this girl wrote down in book involving a trip to the supermarket. But she left out the U
So it became the Spermarket. I had to clench my sides to stop myself rolling on the ground when she said she had to buy some cream from the Spermarket.

Another one was a Spectrum writing book exercise. I had to help them. It was a "How to get a library card"

I said. First you get a form.

 One girl heard this as

 First you get some porn.
Next you take porn home to mother
Last you give the porn with your mothers signature to the library.

Another moment I had to compose myself as she read it out.

				| some kid was trying to write about eating cake, but he doesn't know how to spell it, so he spelled it c-ck. He talked about eating it.
The use of the word 'intimate' has to end too.

				| I work at a university and my co-worker read a section from a paper written by a student in his composition class. The student wanted to say that she liked to travel in Korea:
 I like tripping through Korea

				| I used to work at a hagwon where one of the korean female teachers looked a lot like a boy. She had the Buddy Holly glasses, short hair, etc.
One of the students says to her in Korean, "You really shouldn't act like a woman -- you're a man."

It's not bad enough that to this student, she was a woman who looked like a man -- the student was convinced she was a man, but was trying to act like a woman.
