Did anyone else notice a few important items on the front page of the Korea Times last Friday??
Banking regulations---a few posters have complained about international remittance problems with their banks...it looks like those restrictions are being loosened. Some banks have imposed ceilings of sorts on their foreign customers. It appears that ceiling is being lifted from the current 10,000,000 won per year to 50,000,000 per year.
Transferring jobs---it now appears that the days of us having to wait nine excruciating months (for those teachers who can't stand or are being cheated in their jobs) to transfer jobs is over. It appears that sometime this month that nine month restriction drops to 30 days.
Just looking for thoughts, opinions, or further clarification if anyone can provide it. |
