Why do all of your posts have mention of your gf? Aren't you in your late 20's? You really need to get off the bottle and figure things out without depending on others to do things for you.

Thanks for the useless advice you condescending *beep*. You, Squirrel and that old creep, Hanson, should all get together and discuss how to improve the world with your great wisdom. Rolling Eyes

Hanson, do you ever take weekend trips Haeundae Beach? I always see this old fat guy who wears a disgusting looking speedo and walks around the beach for hours. No kidding, I have seen this guy three times in the last month or so. I could picture that being you for some reason.

Yet again K4 is discussing men in a state of undress.

Admit it K4 you came to Korea because you were to scared to come out o f the closet in your small town back home.

I'm heading to Woori Bank right after this. God I hate dealing with those people.

Is it too hard to understand what they are saying with all their those teeth getting in the way of their words?

That would actually be kind of funny if these were English speaking people that we are talking about. But no, I would guess it's the language barrier you genius. Anyways, I'm off to the bank.

The only time Ive been genuinely ripped off in itaewon is in that bar above Geckos whose name escapes me.

About 4 of us went, we played some pool, bought the young ladies some drinks and about an hour later were handed a bill for KRW 500,000. Luckily 2 of our party were Koreans and after a heated exchange of words we were rehanded our bill this time for around KRW200,000.

I made my Korean colleague, whose idea it was to go, pony up the cash.

Holy Brokeback Mountain, Batman! No, thanks for the offer, but I don't... ummm.... swing that way.

Soooooo, what happened to the 600,000won? We're all dying to know how those inscrupulous Itaewon bar girls stole your money...

Dave-o should give this kid his own forum, he could call it the "strange occurances forum" or something like that...

Ha, I just went to my bank. They printed off all of my transactions....took two more bank books...and I saw the one for 600,000 won. It was from the same bar that I thought it would be from. Anyways, I told the bank woman it was a napada (bad) charge and she called some other bank lady who speaks English. The English speaker gave me the bar's number and I called them and they said since it was past midnight she checked my card with a test charge for 600,000 won. She then told me she mean't to only test for 60,00 won. She said, though, that it's not a valid charge and the money will show up in my account in roughly a week or so. I evgen had her talk to my bank lady who verified that the lady was telling the truth. Strange, I feel like I just won a lot of money now or something. Today looks like a good day.

do you trust your gf??

Once I had the same thing happen. I woke up and my gal, now an ex, was sleeping beside me. we were in thailand and she had been out the night before, while I was hung over. I had 5000 baht charge on my cash card, which she knew the secret code to. I asked her about it, she denied, denied, then I threatened to break up with her and she confessed, telling me how she wanted to BUY ME A SURPRISE WITH MY OWN MONEY.

Funny (sad) thing, I had a Thai gf who did the exact same thing, but stung me for over $4000 in credit card cash withdrawls before I could catch her. If it wasn't for the photo images taken at the ATM's, she would have never confessed.

Thanks. My dad called me insane for ever using a check card in an Asian country period. I think he's paranoid about all things Asian, but I will definetly never use one in a bar again.

I'm glad things got sorted out in the end. I like your avatar by the way - where's it from?
