I've been offerd a contract with 2 of my friends in Ulsan.

If anyone could let us know what its like? Whats the night life like -im Irish so this is important? whats there to do on week ends etc?

any info is much appreciated, thank you please Wink

I don't think i ever used the words nice or exciting to describe Ulsan. If you want good night life just go to seoul. ULsan, much like seoul, is highly poluted.

I don't think Ulsan is too bad. I've been here nearly eight months now and granted, it's a little boring at times but still... Seoul is the place to go to but I was a bit intimidated by it coming from NZ, so I chose Ulsan. There's only a handful of bars that foreigners go to but I usually have a great time on the weekends.

There's an Irish bar if that helps. Also, the foreigner community is pretty good, lots of friendly people.

I think Ulsan is nice, but I wouldn't call it exciting.

The pollution is not as bad as it is in Seoul but still quite bad.

There was another thread on Ulsan not long ago where Ulsanchris and I both went into some details.....someone with too much time on their hands want to dig it up and put a link to it here?
