I want to have this homebrew app on my PSP for the flight home soon.
http://www.dspmusic.org/psp/
But I don't want to use my newish PSP because I'm afraid to download the OS and muck it up.
I found a place that downgrades OSes for a reasonable fee although their OS still doesn't work with this particular homebrew.
Any thoughts?
I want maximum battery life while I'm making nerd tunes in the sky. |

Have your guy install custom firmware 3.80/3.90 M33 on a new psp, available at Yongsan for around 190,000, memory card not included. Find out which firmware version the homebrew you want to run requires. Google/download/install poploader and the firmware you need.
There are a lot of sites explaining poploader use. Takes a little work to setup but is well worth it. |

I'd rather get a used PSP for homebrew stuff. I just bought a new one awhile back. If I can find a used one for under $100 I'll probly just do the installations myself. |

If you are already running cfw on your new psp, check out timemachine, I think that it lets you run older firmwares selectable from the recovery menu, thus allowing you to use older homebrew apps. |

I think it's possible to change the firmware on your PSP. Have a look at www.pspiso.com |
