The whole thing is just catastrophically catatonic, sorry, that's my new obsessive compulsive phrase at the moment, I get like this when I'm up at 5m on a weeknight, full of coffee and chewing my tongue ... wish I had more to add on this one.
Oh I just found it, I was about to hit submit when it came to me.
Who gives one great big stinking flying F about meeting famous people. It's nothing, they're not special, they're just normal human beings like me, they've just been put through the "star maker machine" that's all. It's a catastrophic tragedy, it's basically anaphlactic, the pathos is palpable, all these human beings running round try to find that spark, that glow, that litte something extra that puts the "zing" in life, hoping that standing next to someone who's been on ( gasp, shudder, sigh, swoon, feint ) tv may do the trick, that some of that 'stardust' may just rub off, and that you too, could, in one magical moment of gloriously extatic epiphany, be, for a brief moment in time ...
Larger than life ...

I don't mind entertainers being famous. But I truly truly hate the Hilton sisters. If I were psychotic, i'd make them my sex slaves in the basement of my house. It's all very freudian.
I mean how do they get to be ridiculously rich, skinny AND beautiful. WHY DOES THAT HAPPEN?!
At least if they were dirt poor they would be forced into prostitution or something. Or if they were super ugly, they'd have to hide themselves in their mansion.
But they get BOTH! UGH! |
