Get this!!!

I was just reading EFL-Law and there is a guy talking about working overtime. What his boss wants him to do is along with a guy dressed up as Santa visit every kid in the hagwon's house and sing.

I hate this guy's boss myself, and I don't even work there and it really isn't any of my business.

One more strike against the hagwon for not really teaching English but being a big show instead.

If it's all overtime, it could be good money.

I think it would be good money, and a headache.

The guy was upset because they forced it on him rudely.

EFL-Law guy said make them get immigration approval for separate workplaces.

I once toiled at a Wonderland half-time, and I was approached by the director to put on the Santa suit and visit the kids in their theme classrooms, handing out trinkets and generally being jolly. I was the object of their desire because the morning kids had never seen my face. It's worth doing once, but I don't think I'd do it again. And if you're in for this kind of work, a thumping hangover helps.

I'm a scrooge when it comes to Hagwons.

It does sound fun though.

My theory is that if I do this I would do it out of the goodness of my heart. The hagwon boss cooked up the idea after another student dropped and they have to find a way to increase January profits........
