I BT'ed this one last year, and it was great. Ordered it off Netflix afterwards just to do my part for the movie's numbers.

As soon as I saw the previews I thought 'Oh! That looks like my kind of movie!'. So, I watched it...and liked it...but didn't really get it. The 'logical' and 'creative' parts of my brain were clashing while watching this movie. Intriguing, nonetheless.

It was great visually, but I've yet to see an argument for it being a "good movie".

I watched it about a year ago and remember being vaguely disappointed by it. I was expecting more, and it didn't deliver. Loads of abstraction with little substance underlying.

Now, go see Sunshine. That was a great movie.

On Planet WTF, maybe.

Great set-up, disappointing climax...and that's being kind.

It's no Maximum Overdrive, that's for sure.

Fountain was beautiful but i forgot about the story quite quickly. matthew libatique is one of my favorite cinematographers though.

Sunshine had great sound design and visual effects. but the skinless man part was a disappointment.

there's a trailer on you tube (en espanol) for david fincher's "the curious case of benjamin button". it's a really well done trailer and i'm just speculating, but i think it will be Fincher's masterpiece.

I didn't like the monster guy at the end either... but it was still a great movie overall. As a whole.
