A bounty? Heh, the Hanaro guy will probably do it for less than that. 
A couple of things to try:
Change your default DNS servers from Hanaro's to OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) and post any differences.
Run a diagnostic test at http://ndt.anl.gov/ and post the results. |

I honestly think she is not connecting to her own Hanaro account but still hooked into the unsecure wireless LAN she was on before getting her own internet.
I don't know enough about MACs to tell her how to check/change it.
I would suggest a MAC user group or web forum for instructions on turning her wireless off or changing to the correct wireless/wired account. |

That's average.
As for the internet problem, I'm still getting it. My ping is fine and the servers tested normally when I ran the speed test, but I'm getting some inconsistency errors.
For example, I was playing a game last night with 5m/s latency on a Korean server when the ping would suddenly shoot up to 500-600m/s for half a second before dropping down. It messed up the game pretty bad.
Anyone having similar problems? |

I thought we'd addressed that on the other thread - the AirPort (Mac wireless) had been switched off and it was still the same.
There's an easy way to check, though. You can unplug the wired connection, connect to the wireless and check the router IP/MAC address. Then switch off AirPort, re-connect to the wired connection and do the same thing. The addresses should be different.

| If I bought a PC with Windows and had plenty of ram and memory do you think if the guy came over to fix this it would work fine? I am about to sell this mac since it isn't compatible with anything. |

Could you click the "statistics" and "full details" buttons and post the full results? They could be useful in pointing us in the right direction. |

Depends where the problem is. If your Hanaro modem is shot a new computer won't change anything. I wouldn't ditch your Mac without at least trying to fix the problem. And hey, they're cool! |

Average for a 10m connection. I'm thinking to upgrade my connection to 100m (optical). What kind of speeds do you rekon I can expect from that? |

Really? The detailed results and statistics come up in a Java applet window - you can just click in the window, hit CTRL+A (or Apple+A) to select all the text, and then copy them to the clipboard with CTRL/Apple+C.
If you really can't copy it all, the pertinent info is:
Near the bottom of the "Full details", there are a few lines about buffer limits (starting with the theoretical network limit).
In the "Statistics", all of the "Web 100 Detailed Analysis" should give interesting network information.
If you could post both, it'd be helpful. |

Well, probably about the same as what you'd expect from downloading the entire internet onto a flash drive and loading it off of that  |
