I'm leaving the country and unfortunately have to part with my iPod hi-fi. It's about a year-and-a-half old, and still in perfect condition (original box etc...). These speakers go for about 400, 000 KRW, you can have them for 180, 000 (if you live in or don't mind coming to the Gwangju area).

If you're interested drop me a line at [email protected]; you can also try reaching me at home -- the number is 062-530-4495 -- but I can't guarantee I'll be around.

One more thing. I live in south Jeolla province, but I'd potentially be willing to take a trip up to Seoul (or elsewhere) for a definite sale. If that's the case the price will be 200, 000 -- still pretty fair I think.

These are great speakers and I don't really want to sell them, but brining them with me just isn't practical. No low-ball offers, please.

Take care.

You're right; Apple stopped making the hi-fi because it was unpopular, but this lack of popularity had nothing to do with poor quality. Apple (as far as I know) doesn't make junk. The 400, 000 ticket price was too steep for most people, but the price was reasonable considering the quality. There are a lot of cheaper speakers on the market, and that's fine for most people. These speakers sound really good, and for the price I'm asking, you're getting a bargain.

I've got a set of Altec Lansings back home that I paid about $200 for and they're not even close to being in the same league as the iPod hi-fi. Check some reviews out online and you'll see what I mean. If you have an iPod and like listening to music at home, you can't get better quality for the price.

Thanks for the interest everyone, but the speakers have (finally) been sold.

Happy shopping.

Lol, ipods have mediocre sound quality. You're talking about "great sound" and all, but if you are an audiophiliac, you know iPods don't nearly give out crystal clear sound quality. Of course the earphone matters too. The iRiver Clix for one, has amazing sound quality.
